Glad to see this article improved but important sentence has been removed: "By mid-1890s, he had already designed several Vienna Secessionist buildings". Buildings in question are his Rennweg 3-5 buildings (3 is Palais Hoyos) which are his first decisive break with historicism in sense they are flat (sign of things to come partic) particularly Rennweg 5 and first early Vienna Secession buildings.[1] Hope this will be rectified. This sentence "However, after the success of Secession works at the 1900 Paris Exposition, many of the members wanted to produce furniture and other Secession designs in series. The most prominent members of Secession, Klimt, Moser and Hoffmann, disagreed and departed, and the movement declined and disappeared." is not true. Movement started falling apart after 14th exhibition in 1902, movements most famous exhibition. Those who seeked closer ties with applied art (furtniture etc) were Hoffmann and Moser and they will found Wiener Werkstätte which is technically still part of Vienna Secession style. In fact, Palais Stoclet is the icon of style finished in 1911. Poyzw (talk) 19:37, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I can fix that, but can you give me a citation for this? Cordially, SiefkinDR (talk) 14:13, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
