Harvard Business School Alumni Category

[edit]

Is it really appropriate to consider an NFL player who attended the NFL program through the Harvard Business School an alumni? This is essentially the same as considering someone who took a course or two an alumni, and more to the point, this is far from a defining element in these players lives. I'm not saying it's not a good program or that players who complete it haven't accomplished something, I'm just saying it's not very relevant to the course of their lives or their fame. If we're talking about a player who becomes a significant person in the business world after their career, maybe. But I think the category is more appropriate for people who are actually in business, and the odd figure significant for different reasons but who fully completed their degree.
