Is Owen Stephens (rugby union) actually Owen Stephens?[edit]

The Tauranga Boys' College article states that Owen Stephens (rugby union) is an alumni, does anyone know whether this is the same person as Owen Stephens? Best Regards. DynamoDegsy (talk) 09:56, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Further investigation has shown they are indeed the same person. However, I have a few questions... which rugby union club did he initially play for during his Bay of Plenty Rugby Union era? Which rugby league club did he play for during his initial Australian foray? What was his father's forename, could it be Mortimer? The rugbyleagueproject website states that "Stephens played RU for St George in 1971", could this be St. George Rugby, or St.George & District Rugby Union Club. Best Regards. DynamoDegsy (talk) 07:26, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
