POD (arcade prototype)

[edit]

Hello guys! Not sure if you'd like to incorporate any of my own independent research here but it's available if desired. http://mamedev.emulab.it/undumped/index.php?title=POD_Arcade SWStiletto (talk) 20:49, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please Help

[edit]

I'm trying to run POD on my Windows XP computer. Any way to make this work?

Nope, it just works on Windows based on DOS. I've tried to run on WXP but unsuccessfully. :( --MisterWiki talk contribs 19:16, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Running the game on XP is pretty easy. Try following the instructions on this page to get it to work. Running it on Windows 7 is a bit trickier, but I hear it's already been done on the 64-bit version. Glitchfinder (talk) 10:55, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Boitepodgold.jpg

[edit]

Image:Boitepodgold.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Spam

[edit]

Just removed a link to PodWiki, spam. --MisterWiki talk contribs 19:16, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't seemt to be spam anymore if you look again on it: New faster domain, about 200 pages of content --> inserting a www.podwiki.org link? 79.195.192.163 (talk) 21:46, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'd add it, but I seem to have become the new host for the wiki. Therefore, it would qualify as spam if I did so. On the subject of adding links, why was the link to podphreak removed? Actually, all things considered, I should get around to updating this page as it is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Glitchfinder (talkcontribs) 02:58, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Move article?

[edit]

I was reading through the naming conventions for WikiProject Video games and realized that this article would better fit the conventions if it was moved to POD (video game) or P.O.D. (video game). Unfortunately, I currently do not have sufficient privileges to move the article myself. --Glitchfinder (talk) 19:06, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
