The result of the move request was: No consensus to move and no consensus in this very limited discussion on what the target of the redirect should be. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 07:48, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
Pamela Lee (disambiguation) → Pamela Lee – No need for the parenthetical qualifier "(disambiguation)". Pamela Anderson is not known as simply Pamela Lee, which should not be a redirect to her article. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 21:42, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
- I'm not the sure the dab page even needs to exist. I put the standard hatnote on Anderon's article for now, making a dab redundant if it's considered the primary topic for "Pamela Lee", which I think it should be. —Xezbeth (talk) 14:20, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
- So I made the dab per WP:2DABS because to me it's not clear what the primary topic is. Pamela Anderson is certainly much more widely known than Pamela M. Lee, but I agree with Roman that among readers trying to get to the Pamela Anderson page, relatively few (though IMO more than none) will search Pamela Lee. On the other hand, I think a large proportion of readers looking for the art historian might search "Pamela Lee". So I think we should keep the dab but it seems fine to me to move it to simply Pamela Lee (which it probably should have been in the first place per WP:DABNAME, which I overlooked--my mistake).
