According to New Grove, 2nd edition, Lully's operas were premiered at the Paris Opéra at the theatre in the Palais-Royal, not the Palais Garnier, which had not yet been built. Many premieres at the Paris Opéra were at other theatres, e.g., the Salle Le Peletier. The Palais Garnier is just a theater, not the company. The article on the Paris Opera lists which theaters were used in which years in great detail.
