Pat Cooper is not dead

[edit]

"Pat Cooper died on July 30th 2006 of heart complications."

Neither imdb.com nor deadoraliveinfo.com list Pat Cooper as having died, so I am removing this.

Advertisements

[edit]

I don't think the advertisements for the book and website plugs fit well into this article.Woods01 (talk) 05:25, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Privacy Of Names

[edit]

I removed a reference to a living relative of Pat Cooper. According to the Privacy Of Names policy, no significant value is added to the article/they are not relevant to the topic of the article. It is a violation of this person's privacy to be included against their will on this page by this editor. Please respect our privacy and keep this information off this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.104.79.93 (talk) 15:50, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I removed the link to "Dear Pat Cooper" Blog, a personal blog which the editor uses to sell a product. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.104.79.93 (talk) 07:32, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I just removed the link to the "Dear Pat Cooper" blog again, for similar reasons. It's a promotional site and it's filled with contentious/controversial "information". It's not appropriate.--Bzzzing (talk) 01:07, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Private Life

[edit]

This article reads like a promotional piece handed out by his agent. Clearly, Pat Cooper has a contentious relationship with his children and it should be mentioned in a Personal Life section. This is evidenced by his and his children's many appearances on television available on YouTube and articles written, etc. It is just fact and not libelious. But my guess is that he or his publicist religiously monitor this Wikipedia article and edit it at the least uncomfortable remark. The article is not a good Wikipedia article. It is free advertising for Pat Cooper. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.16.75.139 (talk) 12:20, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

TO ADD MORE OF PAT COOPER'S FAMILY LIFE WHICH HAS BEEN REMOVED RECENTLY. I AM HIS BIOLOGICAL SON, MY FATHER IS 85 YEARS OLD NOW, OLD AND ILL. The person in charge of his page is his son-in-law named Rob Weidenfeld and has been sabotaging my father's page (without his knowledge) and it seems like there is nothing I can do with Wikepedia and correcting the facts. Please help and feel free to call me if that be necessary. I can have a lawyer send you proof that I am his biological son and let you understand what is going on. Thank you for your time.

Michael Caputo, pat cooper's biological son

Not done You did not specify what you wanted changed, nor did you specify how (if at all) someone is "sabotaging" this article. The material you added along the lines of His proud son, Michael Caputo authored the book about the relationship with his father entitled "DearPatCooper," in September 2009. See the website: "DearPatCooper.com" for never before seen photos of an earlier Pat Cooper before he became famous is inappropriate and self-promotional, and will not be allowed on to the article in that form at all. Your repeated blanking of the article when the changes were reverted obviously did not help. If someone thinks a book is relevant to the subject's biography I'm sure they will add it eventually, and what is really needed are reliable secondary sources that consider your website and book to be important in this context, not simply your opinion. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 17:41, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
