Failure to join British civil service
[edit]All that is known is that Dibb failed to join the British civil service. The reason is unclear. However the statement that "his advisers had warned that he was unlikely to succeed because he did not attend a prestigious school like Eton or Harrow, and Cambridge or Oxford. He was rejected likely due to classist attitudes about his working class background" sounds as unreliable as many claims by former spies. The British civil service has a small minority with an elite education, and the suggestion of "classist" [sic] bias is deplorable.203.80.61.102 (talk) 04:14, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
