Birth name
[edit]Hello. Regarding Schrier's birth name, I've been trying to find a reliable source but I found this post from Google Groups, which may be taken from the Variety magazine. Unfortunately, the Google Groups page may not count as a reliable source. So, should we just list his name as "Paul Schrier" until we can find a reliable source for the birth name as per WP:BLP, WP:V and WP:RS? I've just asked AngusWOOF (talk · contribs), an uninvolved user, for his thoughts on the matter. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 04:48, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
- Sjones23, the Google groups that was referencing rec.arts.movies from years ago is an old Internet post, but it is not clear who Johnnie J. Young is. If that's an actual filmmaker / producer with access to source information then it might be ok (kind of like an old tweet) The IAFN.org email predates the nurses organization formed in 2008. At this point I would just leave "real name" blank. If he has been credited as "Paul L. Schrier II" or "Paul Schrier II" in media then you can cite that and place that in real name for now. What would be better is if Schrier himself discloses his full name on public / social media. But if he hasn't done that, then assume he wants only the credited names. Compare to Clifford Chapin who disclosed his name as "Clifford S. Chapin IV" but did not expand on the S. or anything further. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:06, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
