Rome the Eternal City
[edit]P Blume did a painting called "The Eternal City". Anyone know of one called "Rome the Eternal City". I saw it a the MOMA in 1974. It has Rome falling, and two people praying, one to a clown Christ, the other, dissatisfied, looking in to a dark archway where there is an extremely faint Christ.
