Camilla Parker Bowles?
[edit]Does Camilla Parker Bowles really have a former sister-in-law named... Camilla Parker Bowles? That's what the article implies... --Jfruh (talk) 18:50, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
It puzzled me, too, but research seems to show that that is indeed. I have attempted to clarify the page.
Jontomkittredge (talk) 23:25, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
That is a fact. Camilla Younger married Eustace Parker Bowles and became Camilla Parker Bowles and she was in fact sister-in-law of the HRH Duchess of Cornwall. Peeragegb (talk) 01:06, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
False submissions by the various "contributors" regarding family members
[edit]The Earl of Halifax did not have any other children, other than The Hon James Charles Wood, Lord Irwin (The Heir Apparent) and Lady Joanna Victoria Wood fiancé of Jack Morton. Lord Halifax did not have any other marriages but the one with Camilla Wood (née Younger), The Countess of Halifax, formerly known as Camilla Parker Bowles from her previous marriage to Eustace Parker Bowles.
There was numerous attempts to submit false information to this article and suggest that The Earl was married to other women and had other children from other marriage which is clearly false and is not recognised by the Wood family. Such information was not found in any official records.
It was reported that The Heir Apparent, Lord Irwin, had to begin legal discussions with his solicitor regarding illegitimate claims from Mr. Paul A. Needham and other false contributors, claiming to be members of the Wood family, legal action was stopped in May 2015 due to parties agreement to stop any future "claims". However attempts from other false contributors continuing on daily basis from mostly mobile devices as well as desktop computers. I would suggest admins block such IP addresses to prevent future attempts to submit false information which is being "picked up" by other websites as they rely on accuracy of the Wikipedia articles. The article reference to peerage.com website must not be taken into consideration in this article because the source of the article on the website cited as wikipedia[1], "[S130] Wikipedia. Online http;//www.wikipedia.org". Peeragegb (talk) 01:06, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

I agree, peerage.com articles are not reliable sources, since their only source of reference is Wikipedia- using it as a source is circular referencing. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:22, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
It is clear that David Peter Wood (IP 85.255.234.90) is violating rules and policies of the Wikipedia as he submits information in his own interest and on his own behalf attempting to tie himself to the Wood family. This user vandalised article numerous times with his false submissions/allegations. This person is clearly submitting false/incorrect information about his relationship to The Rt Hon The Earl of Halifax, he submits information with has absolutely no reliable sources but one that refers itself to the Wikipedia article for Charles Wood, 3rd Earl of Halifax. The article has a long history of falsification by various false contributors who submit incorrect information to the article trying to deceive members of Wikipedia and the members of public about their alleged relationship to the Earl and his noble family. There is no record in reliable sources such as Debrett's, Burke’s Peerage or other public records about this person and his family ties to the Earl nor his family.
Today in the morning, I've received confirmation from The Earl's representatives[1] that this person has no ties to the family. Here is the contact information for the Earl and his representatives <redacted>Peeragegb (talk) 17:32, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

David Peter Wood 85.255.234.90 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) claims to be Viscount Halifax, he claims to be the son of Charles Wood, 3rd Earl of Halifax, who also clams to live in Hickleton Hall, however he is not connected to the family, and he is not styled as Viscount Halifax because his name is not on the Roll of the Peerage.[2] Peeragegb (talk) 14:46, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
