Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on September 10, 2007.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ...that the proposed BBC television special Planet Relief, created to raise awareness of climate change, was cancelled before it was made, for fear that it would be biased against climate sceptics?
Current status: Good article

GA on hold

[edit]
  • "fears it would be biased towards critics of climate change, despite the fact that the programme was in development for 18 months" - I don't get it. It could be critical and be in development for a long time...
  • Might look better if you take the refs out of the lead
  • No relevant images? (I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't)
  • You don't need to say that the language of refs is English. This is the English Wikipedia :)
  • Newspaper titles in refs (Guardian, Sun, etc.) need to be in italics (and wlink all publishers if possible please, but that's not necessary)
  • "Another critic, director of Friends of the Earth Tony Juniper said," - need a comma before his name, I think

Leave a note on my talk page when done. Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 09:42, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Passed. In answer to the question on my talk page, an image of a person involved would be fine, I think. Make it a free one, obviously. dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 04:05, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
