... that the Platt Report (1964) sought to reduce a rate of up to 50% of trainee nurses in the UK failing to quality? Source: "Annual wastage rates for nursing students ran between 30% and 50% and around 10,000 students did not complete their nurse training every year.... By 1961 the RCN had also decided it was time to reappraise nurse education and it established a committee chaired by Sir Harry Platt that reported in 1964." [1]

Review: new article, nominated within the time limit, long enough, source is adequately reliable. However, the last sentence ("first course leading to a degree in nursing was accepted") is a copyvio from the source and must be modified posthaste. No images. QPQ has been done. The hook is a little oddly phrased, and without modifications ALT1 is preferred, though ALT0 is more interesting.
