I have reverted the previous referenced church text, the deletion of which was made without explanation. Pointon’s parish church is St Andrew’s, as it lies within the ecclesiastical parish of Pointon and Sempringham – this confirmed today through email with the parish vicar. It, therefore, is rightly mentioned in this article as Pointon’s parish church, as was before. I have also confirmed what I suspected is the correct status of Christchurch, Pointon, as a Chapel of Ease to Pointon’s parish church. Acabashi (talk) 12:10, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I had removed the text about St Andrew's because it is in Sempringham, not Pointon (and adequately described therefore on the separate Sempringham page). However there was previously no mention of the church (Christchurch) which is in Pointon. Nedrutland (talk) 19:36, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
