Latin saint?

[edit]

Is he a Latin saint as well? i can't find it anywhere. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 01:25, 18 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No

[edit]

Pope Theodore I is not venerated in the Roman Church. He is nowhere listed in the Roman Martyrology: [1]. Despite what the Wikipedia page says, he is not venerated in the Eastern churches, either, since he has no feast day. According to the link, it seems like some Greek Orthodox parish (?) has him listed as a saint. Otherwise, there is just no history of a cultus for him, though he did seem like a holy man.Mwidunn (talk) 08:11, 24 June 2019 (UTC)mwidunn[reply]
