Portrait of Woman in Navy Blue Dress
[edit]Based on the fashions worn in this picture, which are from around 1833 plus or minus a few years, I think the attribution may be wrong, as Antoinette died in 1824, and given she would have been 45.
I think perhaps this may be her daughter, who is Wikipedia is called Marie of Wurttemberg, and may have been commonly referred to as such, but whose full name is:
Antoinette Friederike Auguste Marie Anna Herzogin(Duchess) von Württemberg
She was born in 1799,and would have been around thirty when fashions like the ones in this painting were worn.
