Great start!
[edit]Congratulations to those whove been working on this article - it's is a great start. Hopefully more information will be forthcoming in the near furture. I've tried to add some features as recommended by the WP:AIR page content guidelines, and will make some more additions changes in the future, including to the text organization outline. If I change something you liked, I'd prefer you discuss it first, but I won't revert you if you revert the changes. The guidelines are just that - guidelines - they only serve to bring some uniformity to the layout of aircraft articles, but it's not set in stone. Also, I moved the page to something closer to the recommended WP:AIR naming conventions. If someone has a better idea, feel free to discuss it. We could put "Limited" in the company name, but I went for brevity. Again, this isn't a big deal, and certainly not worth edit-warring over. Thanks again for the great article! - BillCJ (talk) 02:34, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:LAPCAT1.jpg
[edit]The image Image:LAPCAT1.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Brussels to sydney flight time
[edit]Just a suggestion, but perhaps someone could add the current average/fastest a commercial airplane can take passengers from brussels to sydney to give a comparison. I dont know the details but if someone else does, it would be good to add. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.143.79.252 (talk) 14:13, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Specifications
[edit]What does that m/s mean in the "SFC:" line? It clearly doesn't mean meters per second. Enisbayramoglu (talk) 11:48, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- It means... metres per second. See effective exhaust velocity which is equivalent to specific fuel consumption.- (User) Wolfkeeper (Talk) 01:53, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

Subsonic Sister
[edit]Can a subsonic sister plane that burns hydrogen be designed? Reducing CO2 emissions is popular at the moment. Andrew Swallow (talk) 01:07, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
- Probably, but it wouldn't be the same aircraft. Subsonic hydrogen jet engines are trivial (the very first jet engine was hydrogen.) Off-hand it would be likely to give good range, but it would be an equally big aircraft. Note that hydrogen is made from methane right now, and generates quite a bit of carbon dioxide.- (User) Wolfkeeper (Talk) 01:56, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Aircraft of comparable role, configuration and era
[edit]Hypersonic passenger jet potentially operating in the 2050s doesn't really line up with Concorde and the Concordski, why are they listed as comparable? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.54.81.60 (talk) 02:45, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
