He says he's closer to 7 feet than 6'11. That's not verified. Next to Karlovic and Isner it's hard to tell who's taller. This is far from confirmed or official. Possibly tallest, not tallest. Just like Manute Bol and Gheorghe Muresan in the NBA. Muresan listed at 7'7 but Bol 7'6 and a quarter seemed taller.
