Evolution of Rizal's Views on Religion Throughout His Life

One way to improve the article is to make it reflect the fact that Rizal's views on religion were not static but evolved throughout his entire life. (There are many sources on this; offhand, I can think of Javier de Pedro's Rizal Through A Glass Darkly;^[1] I'm sure there are others.) I think there should be subheadings on various stages of Rizal's life.
