Green and Gold
[edit]The image from Illawarra Mercury is a Hand-coloured photograph of Bob Bartlett in what is stated as being an Australian rugby shirt that is maroon and gold. I have two questions...
- 1. Shouldn't be Green and Gold? Does maroon have a significance, or has it been incorrectly hand-coloured?
- 2. I can find no record of Bob Bartlett playing for Australia. Could he have been e.g. an under-21s player, or a non-Test match player on, e.g. the 1948/49 Kangaroo Tour?
