Words and Things

[edit]

If this work is "monumental," shouldn't it be listed among his published works at the end of the article with a ref? I don't mean to be overly critical: I haven't written an article yet, and I know this is still a stub, but I've never heard of "Words and Things," and I consider myself reasonably well-read. This man has taught at Harvard and MIT for over 35 years, and written notable textbooks. Hard to believe there are NO entries on his discussion page AT ALL! What ever happened to "Be bold!"? Words and Things: an introduction to language, by Roger Brown, publ. (1968?) by Simon and Schuster Adult Publ. Gp., ISBN 9780029048108 (paperback). I'm not sure the publication date is correct: if he wrote it at MIT, and returned to Harvard in '62, he might have been published earlier in hardback, and this could just be the release date of the ppb.

will have to leave title unlinked for now. There are two articles on WP for books of this title, but neither are Brown's. Will unlimk the title in article, but I don't think the "s are correct, either.
