July 2021 Latin Church revision
[edit]As of July 2021, this article was modified to eliminate the nondescript term "Roman Catholic" in favor of the more precise distinction of "Latin Church" (the sui iuris church) and "Catholic Church" (the denomination). If you believe this edit to be in error or improper, please make the relevant reversion and open discussion on this talk page or my personal talk page. Thank you. ~ Pbritti (talk) 23:39, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
Updated Numbers
[edit]Part of an edit requested by an editor with a conflict of interest has been implemented. |
- Specific text to be added or removed:
remove 75 priests and add 103 priests remove 70 deacons and add 91 deacons remove 34 seminarians and add 20 seminarians remove 53 parishes and add 59 churches
- Reason for the change: those were the 2016 numbers, these are the 2021 numbers.
- References supporting change: https://www.nashvocations.org/who-we-are/the-next-generation https://dioceseofnashville.com/find-a-church/ Bill.staley998 (talk) 20:08, 19 October 2021 (UTC)

- Partly done: I changed the count of churches and the number of seminarians with the links you gave. I did not see the priest and deacon counts in my few quick minutes of searching Signed, I Am Chaos (talk) 04:36, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- Partly done: I misspoke last night, I did not actually change the seminarians number, but using your source I count 24 not 20, so that is what I have changed it to for now, please feel free to let me know if I did that wrong (Tag @Bill.staley998) Signed, I Am Chaos (talk) 18:07, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
