Five or Seven[edit]

"Turkish politician who served as prime minister five times" clause is must be changed to "Turkish politician who served as prime minister seven times". Mr. Demirel was the prime minister in 30th, 31st, 32nd, 39th, 41st, 43rd and 49th cabinets of Republic of Turkey.

Should we note somewhere that he was the prime minister for three successive terms, between 1965-1971. I guess '5 times' comes from there. denizTC 00:36, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth[edit]

Britannica says he was born 6 October 1924. Any ideas where this date comes from? -- JackofOz (talk) 14:30, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

why don't you mention that his nickname is father[edit]

He is well known as "father" (baba in Turkish). His hat is also as famous as him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.161.65.23 (talk) 21:18, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

157% Majority Typo[edit]

The page previous said that Süleyman Demirel won the 1964 JP chair with "1679 votes out of 1072"; I have removed that text. It'd be good to have the correct figures, but I can't find them in the sources I have, and no source was given with the original statement. 75.88.79.196 (talk) 03:06, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
