It will be necessary to provide explicit confirmation to support a fringe theory edit claiming Sakanoe no Karitamaro was racially "Black," as that term is conventionally understood in 21st century English usage.

Papinot is the only reference source citation. This source does not support the claim that any pre-Heian period historical figure was racially distinguishable from others in this same period.

Race/racism as disruptive tactic

[edit]

68.190.34.181 -- Your serial edits have something to do with race or racism or something ..., but what? I can't help but notice that you are adding words, but you offer no support for curious claims that historical figures are Negroid or "Black" ...? You post no edit summaries which might explain your rationale? This leaves me at a loss for what to do?

What's the point? In the absence of other information, I can only guess that this is some kind of trouble-making gambit? If there were some other explanation, now would be a good time to share it. --Tenmei (talk) 14:38, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from undoing edits repeatedly, as you are doing at Sakanoue no Tamuramaro and Sakanoue no Karitamaro. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. As you know, the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. You should also note that those -- like you -- who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule.

Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page.
The revision you want is not going to be implemented as a result of this strategy.

Think carefully about what you do next.--Tenmei (talk) 14:38, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
