Does anyone have a date of birth or date of death for Billy Smith? One of the books here (Kirkpatrick, I think) refers to him as 24 years old when he started modeling for Eakins (circa 1898), and this article says he was still alive in 1955. Apparently Billy became friends with Eakins: [1] and from what I read he was born c.1874...still trying to figure out when he died..here's another interesting link [2]....Modernist (talk) 01:24, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
