Place of birth needs verification
[edit]The article states that Elbert was born in Savannah, but the Georgia Governor's Gravesites Field Guide (1776-2003) states that he was "Born in Prince William Parish, South Carolina • Moved to Savannah after his parents’ deaths ca. 1754]]. Most other sources seem to say his birthplace was South Carolina also. Is there a definitive source? --Roswell native (talk) 01:26, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
