hellow iam amir from chak no 463 gb situated near samundri. it is an old village peoplles were living here before partition. old peples say that many sikh families lived here before partition.population of my village is near to 40000. my village is facing a lot of problems. no 1 probleb is that sewerage system has declined.drinking water system structure has finished.and there is no sui gas faciclity in my village,my request to high profile peoples is that kindly resolve these issues on urgent basis . thank u — Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.110.67.245 (talk) 10:24, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

there is another artice on wikipedia by name Prithviraj Kapoor which states that he was born in Peshawar.im not sure about the accuracy of this saying that "'Pirthvi raj kapoor, a renowned Indian film actor, was born into a middle class landlord family (pithvinath kapoor) in Samundri.'"

I M shafique my family live in samundri since 1903 i listen from my elders raj kapoor family live in samundri before partision

I am from india. My family migrated to Eat Punjab at the time of partition. I have heard from my family that Prithvi Raj kapoor and his family was from Samundari town. Infact my grandfather's brother was a very good friend of Prithviraj kapoor. Mr Kapoor even used to visit him in India. My father was born in choti Chak 390 GB. My grandfather;s brother even went to England in 1925 for higher studies. i wish one day I will get the chance to visit this year.
