Sapphire
[edit]There have been several reverts over versions of this article which seem to refer to different people. Thoughts or clarifications? --TeaDrinker 23:41, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
- I did not find any books by the African-American poet Sapphire at amazon.com except for those works listed here. GilliamJF 00:12, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- It appears the editor thought the existing text was filler, there until new material was added. S/He created a new page at Sapphire (astral projection writer). --TeaDrinker 00:14, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
The citations in this article are more like MLA or APA than the footnote style typically used in wikipedia. This should be fixed. Adding a banner stating such. Naysayer (talk) 22:31, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
Based on real life
[edit]I removed the following: <<Push is actually based on her own childhood.>> I've never heard this and can find no cite supporting it. I know Sapphire has stated the character of Precious draws on several young women she worked with as a counselor, but nowhere have I read that any of these events reflect happenings in her own childhood. Please cite before adding this back to the article to remain in line with BoLP standards. Thanks. Air.dance (talk) 21:07, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
