Other castle of the same name?

[edit]

Quick Q: Was wondering why this castle has the modifier (Nanjō) when a search seems to indicate that there is no other castle named Sashiki on Wikipedia? I would like to suggest a page move sans modifier since it seems to not be required (and to also match the format with other forts within Template: gusuku who don't have modifiers when unique). @Jabberjawjapan: Short answer: the article creator only does superficial research before creating these articles. I will move the page. ミーラー強斗武 (StG88ぬ会話) 09:01, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ok - thanks for your efforts. While we are at it, should other gusuku castles' names disambiguation primarily reflect the island they are on or the precinct they are within, or is it ok to mix? Eg Uegusuku Castle (Kume) is the one on that island, but Uegusuku Castle (Tomigusuku) is the one in a city on Okinawa Island. Same for Gushikawa Castle (Kume) and Gushikawa Castle (Itoman). Thanks. @Jabberjawjapan: Technically, I was always using a political disambiguation, since Kumejima, Okinawa is a village, and there are apparently multiple Gushikawa and Kyan castles on Okinawa itself, so using municipal names works best, or using another name that the castle has, like I did with Nanzan Castle. ミーラー強斗武 (StG88ぬ会話) 03:00, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
