ICJ ruling on Japanese Whaling
[edit]The International Court of Justice ruled, in 2014, that Japan did not hunt whales for scientific, but commercial reasons, and that should stop the practice immediately. Japan stated it would abide by this ruling. (https://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/article/140331-whaling-japan-international-court-ocean-animal-conservation) This was in no small part due to SSCS actions and documentation of Japanese whaling practices. Perhaps a point to mention in the article. -- DevSolar2 (talk) 22:19, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
