hhhIs there a source for the "most likely final movie" line? --Proudhug 10:55, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I found a conflicting quote today in the CampBlood.org interview with Don Mancini, so I removed that. CucFan 22:17, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Quite a few of the quotes are incorrect. I made a few minor changes to the one about Jennifer calling Joan when she screams about being pregnant. Banjotooie142 04:02, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The quote "I can't think of a thing to say" is not at the end of the film, but happens during Chucky's attack towards the end of the film at the hospital - where he emulates the Jack Nicholson "Shining" sequence (where he smashes the door down, and says "here's Johnny") —Preceding unsigned comment added by Davidfgthfan (talkcontribs) 03:50, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plot Summary[edit]

I edited the plot summary to more accurately reflect the movie's storyline. CucFan 22:16, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Quotes[edit]

Added more Glen quotes and a Don Mancini quote about the theme of the movie. CucFan 22:15, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Citation help needed[edit]

Could someone fix the citation for the Don Mancini CampBlood article (cited under Trivia)? The help section said that someone would come along and fix it if requested and I don't know how to do footnote citations yet.CucFan 22:14, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

All you have to do is put the URL in brackets, like this:
wich will result in something like this: [1].
The problem I found was that there's not an explicit link to the article, just the website. Check this page for further help in Editing in Wikipedia. Vicco Lizcano 23:52, 14 February 2007 (UTC) (Tell me where I'm wrong)[reply]

Quotes?[edit]

Are the quotes really neccesary? Som of them are worth keeping, but some of them aren't really nessecary are they? --Boy Cool67 02:05, 23 November 2006 (UTC)}[reply]

release year[edit]

Some asshat keeps changing the release years for the entire series.

Possible Sequel[edit]

I removed the section as it was all speculation with no real references. It could be re-added when something is confirmed.--60 Delta 18:21, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Goof in film: Made In Japan[edit]

The scene where Glen discovered who his parents are created a continuity error in film series. The Good Guy dolls, including Chucky, were not "MADE IN JAPAN". They were made at the Play Pals factory in Chicago, Illinois (See Child's Play 2). [It would have been better to have put the stamp on Tiffany, since we had no prior knowledge of where the bride doll was made]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vern4760 (talkcontribs) 05:50, 31 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Production error[edit]

Says there is a deleted scene where Jesse and Jade from the last film are killed in the opening. There is no source for this nor have I found one to substantiate it. Not to mention it is not listed on either actors imdb credit and deleted scenes usually are but it's marked "scenes deleted". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.216.218.145 (talk) 00:47, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Child's Play 5"[edit]

Hi, There now seems to be a dispute over the addition of "(also known as Child's Play 5),
Some sources use it (such as 3 Amazon sellers, A gametraders product page[2], Walmart[3] and a doll site[4]) however these obviously cannot be used however they seem to show that it is indeed known as Childs Play 5,
I've not found anything better either so figured I'd post here for a second opinion, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 20:09, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Definitely need a reliable source for that. Rcarter555 (talk) 22:12, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well other AKAs for films haven't however I'll let others chime in and if people disagree with its usage than I'll remove it. –Davey2010Talk 22:31, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

no Disagree Addition of "(also known as Child's Play #)" was repeated in all the Child's Play articles after Child's Play 3 but was reverted by me, User:Meters, and User:Rodney Baggins. Not only it needs a reliable source, it is also redundant because in the first sentence it is written that "the # installment of the Child's Play franchise" -- Editor-1 (talk) 03:05, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It should not go in unless there are reliable sources that show the use of this franchise name. There is no point in Davey2010 listing non-reliable sources that even he realizes we cannot use to support this. Meters (talk) 04:02, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I listed the sources to show the name was being used, If I hadn't added these I no doubt would've been asked to prove the name was being used?. –Davey2010Talk 10:48, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
AFAIK, it was never officially known as Child's Play 5, so should not be referred to as such here. Same goes for Bride of Chucky which was never officially known as Child's Play 4. After the third installment, there seems to have been a deliberate effort to move away from the "Child's Play" name/theme and focus on "Chucky" instead. Unreliable commentators do understandably insist on referring to them as CP4, CP5, etc. but that doesn't mean we should adopt those names here and thus mislead the reader. Rodney Baggins (talk) 09:28, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Absolutely agree we shouldn't mislead readers, Anyway thanks all for your comments. –Davey2010Talk 10:48, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Plot Summary (December 2021)[edit]

I had just edited the plot summary as it was too long (as per guidelines, synopsis should typically be 700 words or less and it was over 800 words) and the wording was confusing and needlessly detailed/flowery. It was not proper for a wiki page. My new plot summary was shorter (under 700 words), to the point and simpler to understand. However, it was reverted. I am unsure why. Going to re-edit it again to fit guidelines. Please do not revert it. MaximumMadness2 (talk) 23:18, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
