Correcting some details

[edit]
Hello, all!
I say first: I have not read this book yet. But I will collect it from my local library tomorrow (I ordered it days ago) and will read it tomorrow night. Looking forward to it.
In the meantime I have corrected some mistakes in punctuation. No offense intended! But I have been a published editor and line-editor, so you can trust me when it comes to commas.
It sounds like a fun Young Adult novel, and I love this genre. I see that if I do some clicking, I am referred to Margaret Peterson Haddix and her earlier novels. This is useful, thanks!
But this article is not perfectly linked to other stories in the series; I say "not perfectly", because the footnotes are all right, but the text is puzzling.
Please understand that I found Sent because I was looking for fiction about Richard III of England, and not because I was searching for MPH or YA novels or fantasy or time travel novels.
This article seems as though it is not to be read in isolation ("read all by itself") - rather, I feel that I am expected to know MPH's earlier novels, and who the kids are, and who JB is, and how he manipulates time. (If I understand correctly, that is. Quote: "JB promises them that they can return to the present if they can fix Time.")
I look forward to reading the book, which I can read quickly, and I hope that I will then be able to make my small complaints a bit clearer. No enemies here! Just loving historical time travel and hoping to get myself clear, and to get the story clearer for newbies like myself.

PS: I always want to know the ages of kids in YA fantasy! I am told here that "Chip and Alex's true identities are the 12-year-old King Edward V and his 10-year-old brother," but that is confusing for a librarian who needs to know the end, in order to recommend it to other readers. I also suspect that these are not their "true" identities, but merely personages who are occupied for a while.

Again, I apologize if I have made mistakes here. By tomorrow, when I read the book, I will know whether or not if I have erred. In the meantime, please consider me as a new friend! My name is FiverFan65 (talk) 10:05, 11 July 2012 (UTC)FiverFan64[reply]
