Most requested song

[edit]

It's even more important than the yearly anthem, because it's also the song that made the most money, —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.101.72.96 (talk) 22:57, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Split

[edit]

Currently the article seems to cover all versions of the event. The main focus has been on the original 3FM version in The Netherlands, but there is a chart for all the international versions, so I am requesting the article be split into:

Its franchise and specific flows when independently notable as with Got Talent. 3FM of course gets its own.

If the other organizations are not related at all and are just copying the idea they can get their own article if notable by itself.

Another option (and perhaps a lot simpler) is to rename the article to Serious Request to cover all versions. I was hesitant on putting that up as it was renamed from that before. -AngusWOOF (talk) 16:35, 24 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This article seems to be a coherent article and I can see no reason to start splitting it up. I agree that it would probably be better being called Serious Request. The rename was as a result of a discussion on the Netherland Wikipedia. Personally, I don't know enough Dutch to be able to identify the section where the discussion took place, let alone be able to understand the discussion. TBH the 3FM bit at the beginning seems like marketing (a bit like when a sports event suddenly becomes the Acme sports event). I would be more than happy for you to rename the article. Yeah, it was given a copyedit so it is most suited for a rename now. -AngusWOOF (talk) 15:29, 4 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
