- Support per nomination. The town is in Ukraine and its name should be transliterated into English using Ukrainian transliteration. Moreover, as long as such transliteration has come to the fore, consideration may be likewise given to Shchastya Raion → Shchastia Raion, which is also in Ukraine, unlike Shchastya Bay, which is in Russia. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 00:14, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

- The ya form is not the only or necessarily most common Russian romanization: in many (maybe most?) cases the ia form is more common for Russian because that is the very widely used ALA-LC romanization. For the Russian bay, it actually looks like Schastya Bay and Schastia Bay, both with sch-, are neck-and-neck. —Michael Z. 03:21, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
