Comment on hook

[edit]

I know it's a bit late to say this, since it's on the first page but, really,

She was described as "the most prominent of the Mari ladies."[1] is meaningless.

Who described her as "the most prominent of the Mari ladies"? If the person who described her that way was the author of the book that is referenced, then you need to state: "She is described by John Bloggs as the most prominent of the Mari ladies".

Or if she was regarded that way during her own period then you need to make that clear with a sentence "She was the most prominent of the Mari ladies". (referenced)

But to say that she was "described" demands a statement as to who described her.

It needs fixing in the article.
