WP:PLURALPT. I propose that the primary topic for each of these is the singular topic, Shield and Spear, respectively, and these titles should redirect there. bd2412 T 21:36, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes but User:BD2412 seems the only ones contested were albums, don't recall editors in other areas objecting. If someone does object please ping me. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:05, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Very well then - I'll copy and paste and see what comes of it. Cheers! bd2412 T 03:15, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose both of these.
    • For Shields: The dab page shows that "Shields" is used for a large number of things separate from the singular - a surname, and multiple placenames - as well as several other entries. See Talk:Walls for a similar situation.
    • For Spears: Likewise, the dab page shows that "Spears" is used for a surname, a placename, and multiple sports teams - which are nearly always referred to by the plural - as well as other entries. Again, see Talk:Walls for a similar situation.
It's more helpful to our readers to keep these as separate dab pages, per WP:PLURALPT. Dohn joe (talk) 14:03, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
