Image:Enterprise - S2E01 - Shockwave, Part 2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Ratings[edit]
I was trying to find a bit more context for the ratings of this episode.[1] I found it interesting that a rerun of Shockwave part 2 (USA Today via TrekWeb[2]) only a few weeks later during the World Series still managed 4.2 million viewers, not a huge drop from the 4.9 million it got first time round, unusual compared to the ratings dropoff more like 50% I've seen for other reruns. (I wonder how many viewers were like me and knew Star Trek would be rerun endlessly and were in no hurry to watch it on first broadcast, versus how many people were dedicated fans willing to watch the same episode again and again?)
The ratings for other science fiction or fantasy genre shows that week is somewhat interesting, with various new shows getting strong ratings and Charmed beating Enterprise.[3] Of particular interest to sci-fi fans though is Firefly (TV Series). I am fairly sure this was the same week that the Firefly debuted (Enterprise on Wednesday and Firefly on Friday) and the first episode actually broadcast was The Train Job.[4]

It took long enough to write even this little note, and it will take even longer to double check everything (maybe dig out a direct reference to USA Today, instead of an indirect one), and rephrase it into suitable text for an encyclopedia article.
