Question

[edit]

Is that a picture of a worm, or worms, erupting from a man's face? Green Cardamom (talk) 03:47, 12 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. It is a giant parasitic worm erupting from a man's mouth. Gross, I know, but then hey, it is Fringe after all. :) Ruby2010 comment! 04:26, 12 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, more clear, is it a singular worm with many, er, appendages, or multiple worms crowded together? Green Cardamom (talk) 00:35, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the confusion. It is a singular worm that possesses many tentacles (a little difficult, I realize, to imagine fully using just the image). Each victim in the episode in infected with only one, rather large parasite. Hope that helps! P.S. I encourage you to watch the series. It's probably the best drama on network television currently (if you're in the US). Thanks, Ruby2010 comment! 01:04, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

Plot

[edit]
  1. "Seasickness" should not be in quotes.
  2. "In the lab, Walter (John Noble) posits they are gigantic parasitic worms," Replace "they" with "the creatures" or something similar.
  3. "They discover a Triad gang member and ties to several shell companies the gang has set up in the U.S." To eliminate confusion, replace "they" with who that are being mentioned (the Fringe team?).

Reviews
[edit]
  1. "Critical reception to the episode was generally negative." Replace "to" with "for".
  2. "AOL TV's Jane Boursaw believed the worms 'seriously freaky'" Add "were" after "worms".
  3. Ref 12 links to Kuro5hin, a website which uses user-generated articles as its contents. Unfortunately, per point 2b of the good article criteria, sites like the one used are not considered reliable, and should never be used on Wikipedia.

In conclusion

[edit]

As usual, a fine article that is close to GA. I'll put it on hold for seven days so that you can make the necessary fixes. Good luck!

I replaced the Kuro5hin ref with 2 better ones, and made your other suggested changes. Thanks very much for the review! :) Ruby2010 comment! 15:13, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
