Does anyone know why UEFA list this guy as "Sokol Çikalleshi" while everywhere else calls him "Cikalleshi"? I'm guessing it's something to do with the fact that he plays in Turkey, but I'm not sure... – PeeJay16:29, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@PeeJay2K3: I'm Albanian such as Sokol, and I heard our native sports commentators calling him Çikalleshi during the international games of Albania national football team latelly and in fact this has happened since he moved in Turkey, as previously he used to called Cikalleshi during a football match. But however this is just a coincidence I think cause he has just the native citizenship of Albania and doesn't have any relate with fact that he plays in Turkey. @Eni.Sukthi.Durres:. Enian mendoj se nk eshte nje ide e mire pasi ai e ka mbiemrin me C, edhe komentatoret shqiptar me C e therrasin. Profili i tij te FSHF.org me C e ka. Keto ngaterresa mbaj mend qe kane ndodhur edhe me Bekim Balajn qe e therrisnin "Bala" jo "Balaj", madje edhe ne disa raste fanella e tij e kombetares lexonte Bala. Kjo ngaterrese e mbiemrit te tij nga ndodhur nga kompania qe prodhon fanellat tona, e cila eshte italiane, dhe lojtart qe kane germen C, e kthejne ne Ç. Rasti ->Erando Karabeçi. Megjithate, ky eshte nje mendim i imi i cili mund te jete edhe gabim. Veproni si duhet te veprohet. Une personalisht si Sadsadas jam kunder. Thank you. – Sadsadas (talk) 23:02, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi guys, I'm probably not the best person to discuss matters regarding the Albanian language but to the best of knowledge Sokol's name is indeed Cikalleshi without the 'Ç', as I think thats what written on his passport, as per his FSHF, CFF and TFF profiles.
