Hungarian red herring?

[edit]

The material alluding to Hungarian involvement AFAICS is either a hoax/red herring or something more sinister. I've searched in a number of fora and cannot find any confirmation regarding the alleged Hungarian involvement. Sadly this material has been here for almost two years. The material should be removed unless any verifiable sources can be found.--Goldsztajn (talk) 21:02, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This looks to be a complete furphy. Removing.--Goldsztajn (talk) 21:30, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The first half of the paragraph was pretty convincing, but hill' and 'rose to prominence albeit fleeing' are suspicious. I will check the History a bit more to see if it is all from the same author Anarchangel (talk) 21:39, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It was all by one author. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Solomon_Lozovsky&diff=101932299&oldid=88750134 He cites one source, "Dr. John Lukacs, a prominent Jewish Hungarian historian and Professor Emirtus of modern History at Chesnut Hill college". Numerous spelling mistakes, as you can see. The Lukacs article has a lot of criticism of David Irving in it; I have some issues with the neutrality of the wording in it. To me it was a hoax. Given that the material does not appear in any of the Lozovsky wikipages in other languages and there are no references or verifiable sources, deletion is appropriate.--Goldsztajn (talk) 00:27, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
