badly written

[edit]

this article is not written well, has no editing, and has information which might be considered non-neutral.

Could you be more specific?
Anyways, it is hard to contest the neutrality of anything when there are no citations. I believe citations are in order first, then the neutrality can be disputed. I'll go through it and see what I can do and try to fix it up. I'll put it on my queue for expansion, since like him or not, he is definitely one of the most influential politicians in India today. Add citations and material in NPOV.

[edit]

Hi. I've made an edit requesting citations for many comments written. The burden of proof lies with the the one providing the information. Wikipedia is not a research agency.

Further, comments such as and is widely considered as dominating in his role as speaker. His tolerance of criticism is considered low.are blatant POV. Who judges tolerance levels? Low compared to whom? What is an example of his dominating, low-tolerance action with respect to his role? Cite while you add statements like this and NOT write anything and expect someone else to research for you. Thanks.--Antorjal 17:11, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reverts

[edit]

Just a couple of queries about Priyakant's edits: 1. Why was the bot's references to avoid duplication reverted? 2. Why is there a section: "The expulsion from the party (2008)" There's no mention of another expulsion from the party. There is only one on this page so the 2008 is redundant. 3. Why is the text of the section changed around? Right now it says "Chatterjee gave the impression that he intended to stay on in his post, despite CPI (M) calls to resign, as he was opposed to the party's decision [3]." This is an unfinished sentence because 1. there is no full-stop (minor and correctable), 2. it doesn't say what decision he opposed. The option before was a process of accommodating we came to after some debate, reverts, etc. Lihaas (talk) 15:26, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
