Notability

I've restored the notability tag because this article very likely falls under WP:BLP1E/WP:BIO1E. If folks have sources that suggest otherwise, that would be helpful. agtx 16:00, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've been looking and haven't found anything to support notability outside of the Derby win. The few bio details that we have (32-year-old Venezuelan jockey) could easily be incorporated in the 2022 Derby article and redirect to there. (I found one article about a brief suspension from another racing field last September, but didn't add it to the article as WP:UNDUE.) Schazjmd (talk) 16:17, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

few things

1) to say it is second to the 91:1 odds of 1913 would be more clear if article MENTIONED THE ODDS in it anywhere!! 80:1, was it?

2) tv keeps saying biggest underdog since mine that bird (2009). but that was only 50:1, so why even mention it? i am with you that 1913 is the proper comparison.

nonetheless, news reports are all citing mine that bird, so it should be mentioned somewhere. perhaps with "...the inaccurate claim that..." or somesuch attached?

3) IS leon one of the "winningest venezuelan jockeys" in the US? news actually saying he has "never won" a graded US race!

4) page is near impossible to google up! i could only find it via link on sunny leone's page. what gives?
