The AT follows the crest of South Mountain for its entirety in Maryland and for a substantial portion of the mountain in Pennsylvania before leaving the mountain, crossing the Cumberland Valley and climbing to the ridge of Blue Mountain where it meets the Tuscarora Trail junction Arbogastlw (talk) 16:44, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
