Deletion of article on The Pancake Manor as proposed by User:Rich257
[edit]I will be removing the 'marked for deletion' tag on the Pancake Manor article as the subject in question is one of Brisbane's better known restaurants and even more importantly, is located in a heritage listed classical church building in the heart of the Brisbane CBD. I believe this is notability enough and with a little more digging around, I am sure I will be able to discover more facts that will add to the notability. As for the referencing and wikification, I will be working on this article starting today and hope to be able to make it ship-shape within the next week. If any editor has any objections to my removing the 'marked for deletion' tag, kindly let me know within 12 hours of my post. I am sorry, I cannot allow for more time for responses as the 7 days allotted to the article before deletion run out in another 24 hours. I stumbled across this article an hour ago and am sure that I will be able to push it into shape. Manoj Prajwal (talk) 20:33, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Issues resolved
[edit]Resolved the 'refimprove' 'notability' and 'orphan' issues that the article was tagged with in December 2009. The following edits were made to the article:
- Rewrote the entire article in a much more wikified manner.
- Added an info box to the article.
- Improved the referencing of the article.
- Related the article to more categories.
- Added more historical background and current restaurant information.
This article needs further work, however it no longer need the above mentioned tags and so, they have been removed. Any contributions to the article are welcome. I will be working on it on and off over the next few weeks and will hopefully be able to bring it to top-notch shape.

'Conflict of Interest' tag removed
[edit]I have removed the 'conflict of interest' tag by User:SmackBot as the bot has been erroneous in concluding that I - as the major editor of this article am in some way connected to the establishment in question. I assure you that I am not. I'm just a guy with an interest in old architecture and pancakes. If anyone has issues with my removal of the tag please leave a message on my talk page and I will respond within two days. I have left the other two tags generated by User:SmackBot as they are changes that are necessary to make this article a better one. -- Manoj Prajwal (talk) 12:21, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
"Anglican" and "Cathedral"
[edit]The Church of England in Australia did not rename itself Anglican Church till 1981, after the building had been sold for present use. The building was never the Brisbane cathedral. Masalai (talk) 11:37, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
