Loser Leaves the UFC Match

[edit]

I don't think that should be added to the article and if others think that it does then maybe rephrase it. To me it sounds like something to expect from the WWE. 68.188.29.77 (talk) 15:44, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

With the frequency that UFC cuts people, it's actually a pretty reasonable way to use it. If two guys who've been struggling are fighting each other, that's what'll happen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.92.177.67 (talk) 06:19, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Someone want to change his height?

[edit]

It currently says 6'11" 1/2. That half inch isn't sourced or mentioned in his UFC or Sherdog profiles. It seems like a little thing, but wrong is wrong. My browser dies when I try edit it (leads and infoboxes really should have a section edit button!). Thanks. InedibleHulk (talk) 04:21, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

During his last UFC fight against Lavar Johnson his height was listed at 6'11.5 also his reach was was also listed at 84.5 inches tied with current UFC LHW Champ Jon Jones the commentators were talking about his height and reach during the event cause apparently the UFC remeasured him and he grew a little bit since his previous fight. I'm not saying you're wrong, but Wikipedia has a basic rule about verifiability being more important than truth. You can't cite the video directly (copyright infringement is technically illegal and readers shouldn't have to buy the PPV to check a source). It would be nice if you (or someone) could find a reliable secondary source instead, like a review or a profile. A short clip of just the relevant commentary should be considered "fair use" for YouTube (or a similar site). if you (or someone) uploaded it, it could be a reliable primary source. If the Johnson fight was the only height source we had, it'd be different. But when both External Links in the article say 6'11" and nothing says 6'11.5", I hope you can see how this might be (slightly) confusing for readers. Last week on UFC on fuel tv 5, he was listed as 7 feet tall. They specifically mentioned him being the first official 7 feet tall UFC fighter. (just adding, no idea if anyone will see this or do anything with this, not really a wikipedia contributer) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.174.124.197 (talk) 13:43, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah he's now listed on here as 7 feet with a source.Entity of the Void (talk) 18:12, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
