The comment by Johnleemk that Case was not initially CEO of Quantum is, I think correct. Can we find when it was he did formally become CEO? He was certainly calling the shots before the title became official. BTW, the references to the three initial machine-specific services were cut in that edit, and I restored those 2 sentences. According to the book I cited, he became CEO in '91, and chairman in '95 or thereabouts. Johnleemk | Talk 14:31, 5 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I checked and he is credited as "co-founder" of AOL. I edited the results of the research back into the article. Coll7 07:17, 4 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Well, according to Klein, although he was among the original company's first employees, he didn't really "co-found" it, although he did introduce himself as its co-founder to many new employees in the late '80s. He did have a lot of influence, but he definitely did not co-found the company. Johnleemk | Talk 14:31, 5 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Made the changes described -- please check to confirm I got it right. Coll7 20:38, 5 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, right on target. Johnleemk | Talk 14:40, 6 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The first line refers to Stephen McConnell "Steve" Case. Since "Steve" refers to another form of his first name, wouldn't the correct structure be Stephen "Steve" McConnell Case? Plain Text (talk) 02:10, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Kansasbrooks' message (posted to article mistakenly)

[edit]

Hi, I was reading this review, and I happened to come across something that struck me as quite odd. One of Stephen's siblings is actually dead. This sibling also seemingly has 3 sons, all of which are related and befriended to Kyle. Who is this kyle you might ask? Well, that is the question no one knows, to be quite frank. Kyle "claims" to be a part of their family, also going as far as claiming steve to be his uncle & a good friend. What is also really strange about this is that there is not a single track record of this man anywhere. All we know about him is that he is in high school, living somewhere in the Bay Area close to San Francisco, and has seen Lil uzi and young thug once. That is all the information we have on him; if you happen to have more and wouldn't mind to supply it, we would gladly appreciate that. Thank you. Kansasbrooks (talk · contribs)
