Rework to Wikify and some comments re minor matters

I have done some reworking of this article to "wikify" it and to correct some minor errors (eg there was no "State of Origin" concept when Marsh was playing for WA, and at that time it was WANFL rather than WAFL). Note: despite their self-appointed custodianship, it is not the AFL Hall of Fame, but I have added the AFL Wiki project label as that is the only current Aussie Rules project in Wikipedia, and hence covers this article. Should this article exist?

A fairly minor person of note, probably best suited to be added to the teams wiki article? Is it the objective of wikipedia to catalog every sport player in history? RubberJackal (talk) 13:10, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
