Origin of zucchini[edit]

the Wiki article on zucchini says, if I read it correctly, that z were domesticated in Mesoamerica. Kdammers (talk) 05:01, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

nomenclature[edit]

Aren't yellow crookneck squash and yellow straightneck squash the types of yellow summer squash? As the article reads now, "yellow summer squash" refers only to the straightneck variety. --64.60.140.146 (talk) 21:32, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
