Removed unsourced/questionable material[edit]

I have removed unsourced or questionably sourced personal information from this article in accordance with our policy on biographic articles. The little personal information that remained was unbalanced, resulting in it having undue importance in relation to the subject, and has also been removed to prevent that imbalance. I have also removed a BLP violation on this page. Risker (talk) 00:04, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Kept out of Lolita showings[edit]

She was or would be kept out of the theater to see her own movie she starred in (Lolita) because she was underage. I don't have a RS for that, other than seeing it discussed on television. Perhaps someone can find it and add it to the article. --LegitimateAndEvenCompelling (talk) 08:01, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

That claim was removed from the article long ago, because it was false. The U.S. had no age-based restriction on movie attendance in 1962. The British Film Certificate on Lolita was X, meaning "persons under 16 not admitted", but Lyon was 16 when the picture opened. — Walloon (talk) 14:36, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Fascinating. Thanks for the info. I hereby withdraw my request. --LegitimateAndEvenCompelling (talk) 03:04, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
