Thanks David, I was asked by John Shaftman to fix the page the post, I shall ask him to provide public permission as an original author. Let me know if this is ok.RapwriterWiki (talk) 13:51, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi David, Thanks for your concern, I authorised Mr Rapwriter to guide and help in re-rewriting and submitting the article and yes I'm the original author but i asked for his help if that's ok.JonS (talk) 13:58, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As it says in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia, what it needs is a link in an edit summary on the new article to say that it was wholly or partially copied from User:John shaftman/Blak Prophetz. - David Biddulph (talk) 15:12, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It reads like a magazine article at the moment, and I wonder if it is sufficiently different to the three versions that were deleted before?Theroadislong (talk) 15:20, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi David, As per your request, I have stated that comment in the edit summary, Please let me know if that's ok. The article was first edited with my permission and improved in my sandbox area before it was published as an article by user- Rapwriter, with my permission. I will be erasing the version in my sandbox shortly so that I can start on other works.JonS (talk) 19:24, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Page URL/Name Revert Request

[edit]

For the attention of Hiddenstranger or anyone that can advise. I would like your support to recommend/revert this page to the original page name/url Blak_Prophetz. The musical artist solo name is Blak Prophetz and on a few occassions sometimes referred to himself as a Sure Shot this does not qualify as primary. All compositions, songs etc are named/performed by [[Blak Prophetz]. His name has always been Blak Prophetz although it may appear plural because of the 'Z' this does not qualify a change in his title or musician name to his personal name. Previously and even now he is one and has always been one person with the occassional collaboration from other artists. This can be clearly seen via all of his music releases. I think it is wrong for the page name to be called his personal name as that is not what his musical achievements were made from or by. The primary name should be the stage notable name and not the personal name for example Marvin Gaye was born Marvin Pentz Gay Jr and his page is not called the latter whereas Blak Prophetz page has been renamed to Mark Duffus. His musical achievements and fans know him as Blak Prophetz therefore I would suggest a revert to the original page URL and page name to Blak Prophetz for the respect of the musician’s achievements and brand. Please research and you will find that all his works are under the name of Blak Prophetz. The article may reference his real name as the example I've shown for Marvin Gaye but his wikipage should be based on and titled as the musician's public name.

Thanks for your understandings Avon Villa (talk) 19:38, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
